Role Overview

The Community Manager is the go-to contact for both clients and our student ambassador teams. This person plays a hands-on role in bringing national campaigns to life on college campuses, managing ambassador recruitment, implementing creative strategy, and campaign execution from start to finish. You’ll be the bridge between clients, students, and the culture driving Gen Z engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Team & Program Management
  • Lead day-to-day operations of student ambassador programs across one or more campuses
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach student ambassadors to ensure high performance
  • Provide 1:1 mentorship and guidance to ambassadors to drive campaign success
  • Client & Campus Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both brand partners and ambassadors
  • Strategize and execute creative, on-campus marketing tactics tailored to each school’s culture
  • Monitor ambassador activities and provide timely feedback and support

Campaign Execution & Reporting

  • Collaborate on strategic planning, timeline development, and campus-specific initiatives
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign results and insights regularly
  • Identify trends, share best practices, and continuously optimize program effectiveness
  • Maintain and track budgetary expenditures across campaigns

Communication & Innovation

  • Act as the main point of contact for client communication and updates
  • Stay up to date on Gen Z trends, campus culture, and marketing best practices
  • Bring new ideas to the table to keep campaigns fresh, relevant, and effective

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in account management, marketing, or campus-related roles
  • Background in ambassador or influencer programs is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, especially with student-facing teams
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive, can-do mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills with a love for multitasking and project management
  • Fluent in all things social—TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, GroupMe, and beyond
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic data tracking tools

Major Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year credited college or university
  • 1-2 years of experience in event marketing, experiential production, or related field (agency or brand-side)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods at a desk and computer work
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
