ThingsBook Paid Student Programs

ThingsBook is a brand-new app where students can create and share collections of the things they’re passionate about. Whether it’s your favorite books, must-try restaurants, beauty product favorites, travel tips, or hidden campus gems, ThingsBook lets you showcase it all. Post in a blog-style format, share photos or videos, or mix it up however you like. It’s like combining the best parts of your favorite social apps into one space that’s all yours.

We’re looking for energetic students to join our Campus Ambassador and Creator programs and help spread the word about ThingsBook on campus. Both roles are paid, give you the chance to build your personal brand, and let you share the things you care about creatively.

Ambassador Role – $1,500

Ambassadors are the on-campus leaders for ThingsBook. You’ll act as the go-to resource for students, help grow the app community, and bring the ThingsBook experience to life through content creation and events.

Responsibilities include:

Content Creation
Build and maintain a personal ThingsBook profile
Create 2–4+ curated collections during the campaign
Share 2 organic social posts highlighting your collections and campus activations on Instagram or TikTok
On-Campus Activations
Host 2 pop-up events to engage your peers
Drive attendance through peer networks, group chats, and student orgs
Facilitate live collection-building demos
Encourage on-site QR code signups to grow the user base
Peer-Network Promotion
Promote ThingsBook through word-of-mouth and social sharing
Act as the on-campus resource for students curious about the app
Encourage consistent usage and participation in UGC contests

Creator Role – $750

Creators focus on producing high-quality content and inspiring others to join the ThingsBook community. This role is perfect if you love sharing your passions online without the on-campus event commitment.

Responsibilities include:

Build 2–4 ThingsBook collections during the campaign
Post a minimum of 3 organic social posts highlighting your collections on Instagram or TikTok
Participate in the ThingsBook UGC contest
Share authentically with peers to drive organic discovery and engagement

ThingsBook UGC Contest

Both Ambassadors and Creators will help promote and participate in the ThingsBook UGC contest, a fun way for students to showcase their collections and win prizes.

How it works:

Build: Create a ThingsBook collection around the contest theme
Screenshot: Capture a clean screenshot of your collection in the app
Post: Create a social post with photos uploaded to ThingsBook and a screenshot of your collection
Tag:
Tag @ThingsBook
Use the campaign hashtag
Tag your ThingsBook username
Include one line about why these items are your survival picks
