Job Summary:
The Campus Agency is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Marketing Manager to lead the execution of multi-market activations that bring our client campaigns to life. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event logistics, production, and on-the-ground staffing across multiple college campuses and key markets simultaneously. From concept to execution, the Events Marketing Manager ensures seamless delivery of brand experiences that engage Gen Z audiences and drive results. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, have exceptional attention to detail, and can manage several activations at once with confidence.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-market event execution from planning through post-event recap, ensuring each activation aligns with brand goals and campaign KPIs
- Oversee all event logistics, including sourcing and managing venues, permitting, vendor coordination, and transportation of materials
- Manage event production timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on brand
- Recruit, train, and manage event staff, including contractors, local teams, and on-site leads across different markets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal account, creative, and strategy teams to translate campaign concepts into immersive experiences
- Liaise with clients and partners to communicate updates, secure approvals, and ensure smooth event execution
- Create and maintain detailed event documentation, including run-of-show, staff briefs, and production checklists
- Oversee the sourcing and production of branded materials, premiums, uniforms, signage, and on-site assets
Travel to key activations to ensure event quality, troubleshoot on-site issues, and support local execution - Collect, organize, and analyze event data, producing recap reports that include KPIs, photos, feedback, and actionable insights
- Stay on top of experiential and Gen Z marketing trends to ensure events are engaging, relevant, and innovative
Required Skills:
- Event planning & logistics: Proven ability to manage end-to-end event production across multiple markets simultaneously
- Time management: Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly under pressure
- Staff management: Experience recruiting, training, and overseeing event staff, including brand ambassadors and field teams
- Budget management: Proficient in building and tracking event budgets, with a focus on cost-efficiency and ROI
- Vendor coordination: Skilled in sourcing and managing vendors, permits, venues, and production partners
- Creative problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot in real time and stay solution-oriented in high-stakes environments
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Attention to detail: Meticulous when it comes to execution, from signage placement to run-of-show schedules
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable), Google Workspace, and presentation software
- Travel readiness: Willingness to travel to and support activations on-site as needed, sometimes on short notice
Nice to have skills:
- Brand Experience Marketing: Background in field marketing, pop-ups, or campus activations for CPG, lifestyle, or tech brands
- Production Knowledge: Understanding of fabrication processes, branded assets, and on-site build-outs
- Understanding of Gen Z: Familiarity with college culture, student behavior, and Gen Z trends to create resonant experiences
- Social Media Savvy: Awareness of how activations can be amplified through influencer and social content
Major Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year credited college or university
- 3–5 years of experience in event marketing, experiential production, or related field (agency or brand-side)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods at a desk and computer work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
