OnCampusNation, The Campus Agency’s student facing community platform, sits at the intersection of student culture, brand marketing, and campus engagement. We activate student communities nationwide and partner with leading brands to create authentic, campus-driven experiences. Our team has managed college marketing programs for brands including NARS Cosmetics, WhatsApp, CoPilot, Savage X Fenty, Sweetgreen, and more.

Our OnCampusNation social channels are designed to feel like a Gen Z community hub, highlighting student life, culture, ambassadors, and behind-the-scenes moments from campus marketing programs.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, trend-obsessed, and on-camera–comfortable Social Media Intern to help shape the voice and personality of OnCampusNation’s Instagram and TikTok. This role is perfect for a student who lives on social, understands Gen Z internet culture, and isn’t afraid to be the face and voice of a brand online.

Rather than just trying to sell our programs, our goal is to build a social presence that feels authentic, relatable, and community-driven. You’ll create content that taps into trends, memes, pop culture, and student life, while giving followers a reason to actually engage.

You’ll collaborate closely with our account management team to plan content around campaigns, cultural moments, campus programs, and trends. All content will be reviewed by your manager prior to posting.

Responsibilities

@OnCampusNation — Instagram (3 posts/week)

  • Create, edit, and schedule Gen Z–focused, trend-driven content, with a strong emphasis on Reels
  • Appear in content as needed, serving as a recognizable and relatable on-camera presence
  • Repurpose tagged ambassador and influencer content into Instagram Stories and high-performing in-feed posts
  • Write captions that feel conversational, current, and community-first
  • Monitor trends, sounds, memes, and pop culture moments to incorporate into content
  • Respond to comments and DMs to foster an active, engaged community

@OnCampusNation — TikTok

  • Repurpose Instagram Reels for TikTok, optimizing for platform-specific best practices
  • Create original TikTok-first content when relevant
  • Stay plugged into TikTok trends, sounds, and formats popular with college students
  • Engage with comments and DMs to maintain an authentic brand presence

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with the account management team to build weekly content calendars
  • Plan posts around ambassador programs, brand campaigns, holidays, and cultural moments
  • Communicate proactively around drafts, deadlines, and content needs
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at the review and approval process for paid influencer and UGC content across multiple brands

Qualifications

  • Current junior or senior at an accredited U.S. university
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z culture and social media trends, especially on Instagram and TikTok
  • Comfortable being on camera and representing a brand through personal-feeling content
  • Experience creating short-form content (Reels/TikToks, captions, graphics) for a personal account or brand
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable engaging with followers and managing community interactions
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools
